Unity in a Day

Unity in a Day is an opportunity for Girlguiding Staffordshire’s Rainbows and Brownies to experience Unity for themselves. They become part of the camp for one day, experience the atmosphere, take part in a range of activities and have an amazing experience which they will remember for a life time (or at least for 4 years so they will want to come back to Unity as a participant).

Come and join us for this spectacular event taking place at Statfold Country Park during Unity 2026. There will be the chance to try some adventurous activities, enjoy a lunchtime show, and get really involved in the camp for a day. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Date : Monday, 27th July 2026

Time : TBC (note this is an all day event)

Cost : £20 for Rainbows & Brownies, £5 for Leaders & Young Leaders (please note all payments are non-refundable)

Location : Statfold Country Park, Tamworth

We are conscious that Unity in a Day will take place on a weekday to help create the best possible experience for everyone attending. Holding the event on Monday 27 July allows those attending Unity 2026 for the week to settle into camp life, while giving Rainbows and Brownies the chance to enjoy a more authentic taste of camp during an active day on site. We recognise that a weekday event may mean some leaders need to take annual leave, and we truly appreciate this commitment. To support you, we’ve prepared a template letter you can share with your employer to request a day of paid volunteer leave, helping make your involvement a little easier.
